Welcome to St Charles Borromeo &
Our Lady Queen of Peace Ryde-Gladesville Parish

On 24 May 2015, we celebrated the birth of our new Parish of St Charles Borromeo and Our Lady Queen of Peace Ryde-Gladesville. It is also the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians, Patron of Australia. It begins a new chapter in the sacred story of St Charles Borromeo and Our Lady Queen of Peace communities, which cease to be separate and individual parishes. The futures of our communities are now intimately linked as in a marriage. We are supported by our parish priest Fr Richard Gates and Fr Peter Kwak our assistant priest.

Rejoice! Be filled with the joy of the Gospel ……..

God is love. Our relationship with God is not intended as a duty or an imposition. It is a bond that comes from within, a relationship lived with the heart. It is our friendship with God granted to us by Jesus, a friendship that changes our life and fills us with joy.

The Apostolate of Renewal is a New Evangelisation Movement in the Catholic Church with prayer communities in Sri Lanka, Italy, Australia, U.K., Lebanon, Oman and Abu Dhabi. We invite you to encounter Jesus, to experience a serenity and joy which nothing and no one can take away.

We invite you to a gradual discovery of the whole of the Church’s two thousand year tradition. A series of initiation talks commencing every Saturday from 19 August  for 8 weeks from 4.30pm to 5.45pm in Borromeo Hall.
