FORMATION AND TRAINING COURSE FOR EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION

The Archdiocese of Sydney will be conducting a Formation and Training Course for those interested in assisting with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and/or Visitation to the Sick.

Fr Richard invites those who are interested and wish to be considered for this ministry to contact him for more information and for an application form. Any person attending this course must have the endorsement of the Parish Priest which is part of the application form. The Archdiocese also requires a copy of your Baptism Certificate.

The next Course will be at St Ambrose Catholic Primary School, cnr Consett and Stuart Streets, Concord West on Wednesday 23 & 30 August. Both nights are to be attended to receive certificate. The same course is being offered at Our Lady of the Rosary Jubilee Hall, 4 Roma St Kensington on Wednesday 26 July & 2 August.

Current Extra-ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are encouraged to attend by also completing the application form from Fr Richard as part of further formation.

For those who are considering the Ministry of Acolyte this course is a pre-requisite.
