Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – a gentle journey into the Catholic faith

posted 26 Apr 2017, 16:27 by Geraldine Rastall
Would you like to explore the possibility of joining our Catholic family? Are you interested in a gentle, comprehensive, community-based process towards initiation into the Catholic faith? The Parish sacramental programs may inspire some parents or family members to consider embracing our faith. Alternatively, the idea may have been percolating for years. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Process (RCIA) may be for you, or for someone you know. It has been running successfully in our Parish for many years. It brings a special vitality to any faith community. The next RCIA Process begins later in the year with the Enquiry Phase. It then proceeds through a number of phases where participants can choose at any time whether they wish to continue. Those who continue are initiated into the Church during the Easter Vigil Mass. The Process is led by an experienced and dedicated team, some of whom were initiated into the Church through the RCIA. If you are interested, please contact Ryde/Gladesville Parish Office 9807 2966, or Lyn 9809 2646 or 0414 294 536, the Parish RCIA Coordinator.
